This annual International Symposium on Rule Interchange and Applications RuleML-2009 (http://2009.ruleml.org) brings together the best minds from around the world to discuss and exchange new ideas, standards, practical developments and experiences on issues pertinent to the interchange and applications of rules in open distributed environments such as the Web.
It evolved from a serious of series of international workshops since 2002, international conferences in 2005 and 2006, and international symposia since 2007 and is now in the top 100 venues for impact factor (71): http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/stats/venues
The Symposium (RuleML-2009) will take place, November 5-7, 2009, in Las Vegas, co-located with the 12th International Business Rules Forum. Speakers, attendees and supporters of these aspects of Web rules and standards all look forward to sharing new insights whilst learning from the broad network of professionals and world-class scientists.

Papers can be submitted till June, 28th and will be published in Springer LNCS proceedings. A special journal issue is forthcoming.
